Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon has adventure for all ages, and is better suited to small children than Disney’s other water park, Blizzard Beach.

Park Info
Typhoon Lagoon is bigger and more themed than any local water park you’ve been to. It has 15 water slides, some as long as 420 feet, and two streams. Most of the slides drop down from the top of a 100-foot-tall artificial mountain, Mount Mayday, that is the park’s icon. The park’s theming, even on the water rides, is excellent.Typhoon Lagoon has adventure for all ages, and is better suited to small children than Disney’s other water park, Blizzard Beach. Activity pools for young children and families feature geysers, tame slides, bubble jets, and fountains. For the older and more adventurous are the enclosed Humunga Kowabunga speed slides, the corkscrew Storm Slides, and three whitewater raft rides: Gang Plank Falls, Keelhaul Falls, and Mayday Falls. And Crush 'n' Gusher, billed as a “water roller coaster,” runs through an abandoned tropical fruit-processing plant.
Typhoon Lagoon Attractions For Children
Bay Slides – A miniature two-slide version of Storm Slides specifically designed for small children. Kids splash down into a far corner of the Surf Pool.
Ketchakiddie Creek – Toddlers and pre-schoolers love this area reserved only for them. Say “splish-splash” and have lots of fun.
Typhoon Lagoon Attractions for Teens and Adults
These water slides are fast and tall enough to come with their own height requirements:
Crush 'n' Gusher – Water roller coaster where you can choose from three slides—Banana Blaster, Coconut Crusher, and Pineapple Plunger, all about 410 feet long. This thriller leaves you wondering what exactly happened, if you make it down in one piece, that is; it’s not for the faint of heart.
Humunga Kowabunga – Speed slides that hit 30 mph. A five-story drop in the dark rattles even the most courageous rider. Women should ride this one in a one-piece swimsuit.
Typhoon Lagoon Attractions for Everyone
These attractions do not have height requirements:
Castaway Creek – A wonderful half-mile lazy river in a tropical setting with cool mist, waterfalls, and a tunnel through Mount Mayday.
Gang Plank Falls – A family-friendly whitewater raft flume ride in a four-person tube.
Keelhaul Falls – A fast whitewater ride in a single-person tube.
Mayday Falls – A wild single-person tube ride. Hang on!
Miss Adventure Falls – A gentle family raft ride down a well-themed slide.
Storm Slides – Three body slides plunge down and through Mount Mayday.
Surf Pool – The world’s largest inland surf facility, with waves up to 6 feet high. While adult supervision is required, the waves closest to shore are closer to pond ripples.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Dining
Typhoon Lagoon's dining options aren't fancy, but there are plenty of them. Inside the park you;'ll find five quick-service restaurants, eight food stands, and two bars. Every quick-service restaurant has kid-friendly options such as fried chicken strips and fries.
Typhoon Tilly's is the park's highest-rated quick-service restaurant, serving shrimp, fish, and crab cakes. The other place to try is Lowtide Lou's, serving wraps and sandwiches, plus tabbouleh, and stuffed pretzels.
